The ego loves to be a victim. Being the victim underlines the imagined separation and provides reasons for why things are not OK as they are. To be conscious includes accepting that we are powerful, in charge and creating our own reality, always. Even in the worst situation, we can still choose our attitude. Choosing love, the ultimate expression of the divine, offers the experience of personal power.
