Privacy policy

The Yantra Deck website at yantradeck.com is operated by Vayu Publishing (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run your account, we never sell your information, and your reflections are private to you.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier. If you sign in by email link, we receive your email address.
- Your readings. For each spiral reading you draw, we store which cards came up, their positions and the date. If you save a reading, we also store the reflections you write.
- Membership details. Your plan, renewal date, and a customer reference from our payment processor.
- Email preference. Whether you have asked to hear about new features, decks and products.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.
We do not see or store your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
How we use it
- To run your account, keep your saved readings, and apply the free and member limits.
- To process membership payments and renewals.
- To send account emails, such as sign-in links and payment receipts.
- To send news about features, decks and products, only if you opt in. You can opt out anytime from your Account page or the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To produce anonymous, combined statistics about the deck, such as how often a card appears in a given position. These never identify you and never include your reflections.
Your reflections stay private
Your written reflections are visible only to you. When you copy a link to share a reading, the link contains only the cards drawn, never your reflections or who you are.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site, each for its own part of the job:
- Supabase: database and sign-in
- Netlify: website hosting
- Google: “Continue with Google” sign-in
- Stripe: payment processing
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and, for readings saved before accounts existed, to keep those readings on your device. Google’s sign-in button may set its own cookies. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account information and readings while your account is open. To delete your account and everything associated with it, email support@yantradeck.com from the address you signed up with. We may keep payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and our database only lets each person read their own readings. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The Yantra Deck isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If the changes are significant, we’ll let members know by email.
